专家介绍：

Linda Powers Tomasso represents Harvard University Extension School’s Graduate Program in Sustainability and Environmental Management and EplerWood International, where she is a research associate on sustainable international tourism. Last year, she authored a White Paper on “Green Build-out of the Chinese Tourism Sector” for the Wyndham Hotel Group on behalf of EplerWood International. Through a Harvard program, Ms. Tomasso worked at the State of Connecticut’s Bureau of Technology and Energy Policy under the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.  Her work there focused on the state’s Comprehensive Energy Plan as well as Climate Change policy.  Her graduate thesis proposes a new methodology for Greenhouse Gas accounting associated with Land Use Change.  

Ms. Tomasso’s previous career was as a United States Foreign Service Officer, specializing in Public Affairs, with postings in Italy, Central America, and Washington.  She holds a previous master degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a bachelor from University of Notre Dame.  She lives with her family in Connecticut, where she recently received a Congressional citation for her leadership at the country’s oldest museum of American Art located in that state.
